Ventilation Done Right
As a ventilation-certified contractor, we give you the information every customer deserves that will maximize the life of your new roof.
Our solutions-based approach extends the life of your roof while minimizing utility bill costs.
Customized Approach
We analyze each roof and recommend the best type of ventilation for your home. As one of the top roofing companies Glendale, WI homeowners can call, we'll explain the benefits of active vs passive ventilation and assess if you have both intake vents as well as exhaust vents.
Different types of roofs benefit from different types of ventilation.
Longer Lasting, Less Reliance on Air Conditioning
Too much exhaust ventilation will not pull warm, moist air in your attic. Too little and you won't establish a good draw from the natural process of convection. In many cases we'll recommend moving to active ventilation instead of just passive. We break it down to a science. Get your ventilation just right and your house will be more comfortable, reduce your reliance on your air conditioner, ventilate out moisture in the winter and extend the life of your roof. Less energy usage means more savings for you.
One of the most unusual and challenging jobs we've ever done. With over 30 facets coupled with vaulting curves, this house now has the nicest roof on the block!
We Explain the Why and the How
We focus on real solutions and smart designs that don't have to cost you more than other roofers. We'll explain how a shingle is put together and what you can do to make it last. Details like flashings, penetrations, ice and water protection, underlayments and even ridge cap shingles make a big difference.
What to Expect From Your Appointment
We respect your time just as we hope you respect our time and expertise. We are a no pressure company and our appointments average 60-90 minutes depending on how many questions you have and how complex your home is. We make it easier on you with the educational, or blog, portion of this website with the articles on the bottom of this page.
Protection From Ice Damming
Extensive freeze and thaw cycles are common in Wisconsin. This causes ice to build up on the gutter and back up into houses. We can't stop Wisconsin from happening, but we can reduce your chances of having these problems.
Through a combined process of ventilation and 6 feet of high temperature, rubberized ice and water membranes, we are able to reduce problems from ice dams to protect your home.
Protecting Your Home
We're one of the best roofing companies Fox Point, WI recommends for a reason! We work to protect your windows and siding from damage that could be caused by debris falling from your old shingles falling off of your roof. When possible, we use our Equiptor to minimize debris falling onto the ground. After we are done, we will use a magnetic nail finder to locate as many nails from your old roof as possible. We've torn off roofs that have as many as 20,000 nails in them! We include cleanup and haul away of all job-related debris with every project.
How We Accomplish One-Day Installations for Most Roofs
Good planning is the short answer. We order aerial surveys after you green light your project. We create a materials list and then stage it. If it is possible to have the shingle bundles unloaded directly onto your roof with a boom (think crane on the back of a truck) we do. We use our Equiptor whenever possible so the old shingles can be stripped and pushed directly into the Equiptor which allows us to then drive it over and dump it into our dump trailer. The saves time and allows us to be very efficient. We order more than we believe we will need because there's nothing worse than having a crew waiting for us to fetch materials. We have enough crew members there to do a tear off, install and clean up in what is just one day for most jobs. Bigger or more complex jobs can take longer.
We take pride in minimizing any impact or inconvenience.

Ventilation is Key to a Good Roof
Without proper ventilation you can easily turn a 30 year shingle into a 15 year shingle.
